Microsoft Australia have today gone and done something a little unexpected with the announcement that their Xbox 360 models are all dropping in price.

- Xbox 360 Arcade drops from an RRP of $349 to the new price of $299
- Xbox 360 with the hard drive (technically the "Pro" model) drops from $499 to the hot price of $399
- And the Xbox 360 Elite clad all in black falls from $649 one hundred bucks less to the new price of $549
